About Contend Academy

Contend Academy takes its name from Jude’s charge: “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3, KJV). The verse on every page of this site is its companion: God’s word as a lamp for the next step, not a floodlight for the whole road.

What this is

Young Christians, and plenty of older ones, meet hard questions about their faith years before they meet a structured answer to any of them. Contend Academy closes that gap in the order the questions arrive: know the Bible as one story, learn to read it in context, learn what the church has always confessed, answer the hard questions, and understand the beliefs of the people around you.

Who it is for

Learners from 12 to adult, in two tracks: Youth (12–17) and Adult, covering the same ground at the depth each reader needs. And the people who teach them: every lesson carries a pack for a parent, youth leader or small-group leader, free.

How content is published here

Nothing on Contend is generated and shipped unexamined. Every lesson is written as a structured record, with its Scripture quoted only from the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version, both public domain, and every quotation checked against the published text. Each lesson then sits in a human theological review queue, checked against our Statement of Faith, before it may be called published. Lessons currently in review are labelled as such, plainly, on their own pages.
